He supervised the design and construction of our stationary and mobile plants as well as the development of our Li-Ion battery recycling process.

Luigi is Professor emeritus at the Department for Chemistry at Sapienza University of Rome. The department of chemistry is involved in the development of innovative technologies for the recycling and valorisation of different kind of wastes: WEEE, spent batteries, obsolete medical equipment, car fluff and other kind of industrial wastes containing precious and base metals.

In addition he manages EcoRecycling, an Italian spin-off company that has been created by several researchers coming from the University together with two SMEs involved in environmental technologies related to recycling of industrial wastes and in the treatment of industrial wastewaters.
